Acque del Chiampo S.p.A. Benefit Corporation opens the doors to the water works and treatment plants to let you discover how water is managed, treated and returned to the environment. The guided tours offer a unique first-hand experience of the processes that ensure an essential service to the community, thereby promoting awareness and sustainability. <\/p>

Acque del Chiampo S.p.A. Benefit Corporation organises educational tours specifically designed for students of primary schools, middle schools and high schools.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Discover the complete water cycle through an interesting theory lesson on the integrated water cycle, on drinking water supply and on the water distribution system in the Valle del Chiampo.<\/p>

The theory lesson will be followed by a guided tour of our water works to see its full potential at work.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Visit the treatment plant<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Visiting the plant up close means fully realising how this huge machine works round the clock. Indeed, the treatment plant works constantly, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. <\/p>

After attending the theory lecture on the features of the treatment plant, students can go on a guided tour inside the plant.<\/p>

The treatment plant is huge: it covers an area of 150 thousand square metres. Visitors can only move around it by car. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
